Get Into The Christmas Spirit!

Christmas at Kew truly is an experience you would be mad not to try. It is quite hard to explain in writing what is it like, but think of a fireworks display, except more permanent and far more immersive. I wanted to walk through it over and over, it was mesmerising.

This year’s route through the gardens is particularly special; taking you past glass houses emblazoned with kaleidoscopic projections, through shimmering tunnels of light and trees drenched in jewel-bright colours.

My favourite part is the fact you can wander around the incredible spectacle of creativity with a glass of mulled wine and stroopwafels in hand. It is really easy to make a whole evening out of it.

As I mentioned, tickets can be hard to come by. I suggest trying to book your spot on weekday afternoons if you can - weekends are typically the busiest time to go.

I really can’t recommend it enough and even if you end up having to go post-Christmas I can assure you you won’t regret it. So book your tickets and head to Kew!
